W. Michael Linn
Michael Linn has a background in energy, software technology, finance, organizational process, and executive leadership. His contributions to industry include facilitating the growth of a startup that was eventually acquired by Microsoft, as well as designing critical information systems for the Department of Energy. His contributions were recognized in 2014 when he received the ASHRAE Global First Place Tech Award for his groundbreaking work on energy and air quality for educational buildings.
Committed to economic and social progress, Michael is deeply involved in efforts to establish a regenerative economy and advance social justice. He supports initiatives aimed at helping orphans escape poverty, particularly through his work with Inua Partners in Hope.
Holding degrees from Harvard Business School and Harvard College, where he graduated with honors, Michael is a trained Climate Reality leader. He leads the Dallas Climate Reality Business Working Group and is part of the National Climate Business Working Group. As a member of the Harvard Alumni for Climate and the Environment, he is also the producer of the Climate Boot Camp, a program developed in collaboration with Climate Reality and HACE, focusing on climate education and action.
