EDG has had a sustainability practice since its inception. Given the increasingly profound climate impacts, along with the stark scientific evidence about where we are and where we are headed, climate strategy, innovation, and leadership is urgently needed.

EDG offers a focus on climate innovation in all of our consulting and training offerings: From our work with groups on clarifying their climate strategy and the organization development needed to deliver this; our talks and workshops; our writing and publications; and our innovation tools and practices. Each of our offerings can be customized to build on the climate actions a group has already taken, to help them build the important next steps in their climate commitment.

Many current climate initiatives focus on reducing carbon emissions, on reducing a group’s “carbon footprint.” However, the effects of climate change are speeding up. It is now increasingly urgent that we not only consider reducing our carbon footprint, but that we also look at ways to actively draw down the greenhouse gas that is already in our atmosphere.

EDG works with clients to reduce their carbon footprint and also to build their “Regenerative Handprint.” We enable groups to reduce their carbon emissions and to discover how they can draw down carbon — to restore, regenerate, and cool our planet.

We work with companies and their leaders to develop regenerative strategies, determine specific areas for action, implement innovation practices and online platforms that allow for the participation of all critical stakeholders in far reaching climate action campaigns. We support organization development and redesign efforts that impact all aspects of the enterprise: from product development, to supply chain management, to partner and stakeholder engagements. The intent of this work is to redesign client companies and their business ecosystem to make regenerative practices and associated impacts part of daily business.
